- It is autumn in Asagiri Plateau. As the sun rises, the surroundings change completely and become glowing orange. The night dew on the flower spikes of Japanese silvergrass and Japanese laurel shimmer. It is truly natural illumination. It was a surprising moment to see the water droplets that happened to get on the lens shining as well.

A total of 333 entries were received from across the country for the Asagiri Plateau Photo Contest. After a rigorous screening process on Wednesday, November 2018, 11, one Grand Prize winner, three Prize-winning entries, and ten Honorable Mentions were selected. The winning photos will be used on the Fujinomiya City Tourism Association's website, in leaflets, posters, etc.
