In the northern part of Fujinomiya City, in the Asagiri Plateau, there are grasslands that are covered with silver grass. The sight of silver grass swaying in the wind is soothing.

Autumn in Fujinomiya is packed with events, including the Asagiri Plateau Festival in October, the Fujinomiya Festival on November 10rd, 11th, and 5th, the Nobunaga Autumn Leaves Festival in mid-November, and the Shiraito Falls and Jomon Festival in late November.

Touring the foothills of Mt. Fuji on an E-Bike

Cycle around the foot of Mt. Fuji on a sports-type E-Bike. It is also recommended for touring the components of the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Site, such as Murayama Sengen Shrine and Yamamiya Sengen Shrine, as well as famous sites such as Asagiri Kogen, Shiraitonotaki Falls, and Jinbanotaki Falls.

The mountains of the Tenshi mountain range on the west side of Mt. Fuji, such as Mt. Chojagatake, Mt. Tenshigatake, and Mt. Kenashi in Fujinomiya City, are perfect for light mountain climbing, hiking, and trekking. The view of Mt. Fuji through the autumn-colored trees is exceptional.

Take a leisurely stroll through the town of Fujinomiya

The downtown area is dotted with sightseeing spots such as Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine and Shizuoka Prefecture Mount Fuji World Heritage Center. Autumn is the perfect season for a stroll around the town.
