There are four local sake breweries in Fujinomiya city.
Three of these breweries will hold "kura-kai" (opening of the breweries) from January to March.

Fuji Takasago Sake Brewery, located within walking distance of JR Fujinomiya Station, holds its brewery opening twice a year, in summer and winter. On the day, customers can enjoy free sake and sales, as well as local gourmet food, and the brewery opening is a huge success, with many visitors from both inside and outside the city coming to enjoy it.
Currently, the storehouse and direct sales outlet in Fujinomiya city are open. It is recommended to visit the storehouse in conjunction with a visit to Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine.
You can choose directly from Japanese sake that has received high praise overseas.

Makino Sake Brewery is located in Shimojo, Fujinomiya City. Until now, the Ueno no Sato Festival has been held once a year in February in collaboration with Fujimasa Sake Brewery, but from this year onwards, Makino Sake Brewery will be holding the festival on its own!
The main venue will be Makino Sake Brewery, and the second venue will be Doi Farm. There will also be sake tastings, free free drinks, and food that goes well with alcohol, all of which will liven up the local area.
Honjozo sake products such as those bearing the names "Mount Fuji" and "Fuji no Makigari" are highly rated as souvenirs and gifts.

The Yuno Village Brewery Opening, held every year around mid-March at Fujinishiki Sake Brewery in Kamiyuno, Fujinomiya City, serves as a way to revitalize the surrounding area.
The event is popular because it attracts many visitors every year, as they can enjoy alcohol and local cuisine, and can be enjoyed with delicious alcohol while looking out at Mount Fuji.
In addition, they hold monthly sales of unpasteurized sake by weight and Yuno Petit Marche, and continue to cherish their connections with their fans.

The brewery and direct sales store are located within Asagiri Food Park, and visitors can also tour the sake brewing process. Located along Route 139 and adjacent to the Asagiri Kogen Roadside Station, it is a convenient shopping spot for those taking a drive around Mount Fuji.
