Sugita Koyasu Shrine is a shrine that is visited by many worshippers from not only the city but also the surrounding areas as a deity of safe childbirth and child rearing. There is a legend that a woman named "Yasu" is enshrined as the deity of safe childbirth and child rearing. It won first place in the "Good to go" category in the popularity poll ranking of the Fujinokuni Angel Power Spot General Election sponsored by Shizuoka Prefecture.
