Fuji Takasago Brewery

Our company was founded in 1820 (Tenpo XNUMX) when the founder, Masayoshi Yamanaka, set up a sake brewery on the west side of Mt. Fuji Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine. Our brewery is characterized by the use of soft underground water from Mt. Fuji for the sake brewing, and the Noto-ryu Toji brews sake using the traditional Yamahai method. We use yeast from Shizuoka to brew sake with a gentle taste.
We also offer tours of the historic and traditional sake brewery (reservations required).
