"Fuji Harness, Guide Dog Village" is a guide dog training center that anyone can visit without making a reservation!
Fuji Harness is a facility that not only trains guide dogs, but also provides total care for them throughout their lives. If the timing is right, you may be able to see puppies up to two months old before training, and see how the training dogs spend their time in the kennels.
Within the facility, visitors are free to explore the exhibits, which include panels where you can learn about guide dogs and visual impairments, as well as booths where you can experience what it is like to see with a visual impairment.
If you arrive at a time when a guide dog demonstration is being held, you will be able to hear the staff's explanation directly.
