Asagiri government
The lush green plateau that spreads out on the western foot of Mount Fuji is called the Asagiri Plateau.
Looking up at Mt. Fuji from up close, you will be impressed by its scale, which exceeds your imagination. If you look down to the horizon, you will see dairy cows lying down here and there. Asagiri Plateau is a place where dairy farming is thriving, and the tranquil atmosphere will cleanse your soul.
The name comes from the frequent morning and evening fog that occurs between May and August.
Parking on the road is strictly prohibited on Route 139, which passes through Asagiri Plateau.
If you wish to take photos of cows and Mt. Fuji, please be sure to park in Asagiri Sawayaka Parking.
