Shizuoka Prefecture Fujisan World Sun Center
The Shizuoka Prefecture Mount Fuji World Heritage Center was established as a facility for systematizing "Fuji Studies" by "linking together" the four activities and results of "long-term protection," "enjoyable communication," "wide interaction," and "deep study," and for exploring the value of Mount Fuji, a World Cultural Heritage site, and for passing it on and exchanging information about it.
| Protect forever | Passing on the value of Mt. Fuji to future generations: protection and management |
|---|---|
| Communicate with fun | Communicating the diverse value of Mt. Fuji – Exhibitions and information sharing Providing opportunities for "fun learning" about Mt. Fuji ~ Learning support ~ |

The exhibits are divided into themes such as "Nurturing Mountains," "Beautiful Mountains," "Wild Mountains," "Sacred Mountains," "Inherited Mountains," and a "Video Theater," and are designed to be enjoyed as you progress along a spiral slope reminiscent of climbing Mount Fuji.
The space on the top floor offers a picturesque view of Mt. Fuji, and the facility's materials are made from local wood, including "Fuji cypress" grown at the foot of the mountain.
