Obinmizu is a beautiful water mirror located at the top of Shiraito Falls, and legend has it that when Minamoto no Yoritomo visited the area for the Fuji Makigari hunting event, he looked at his face in the beautiful water mirror and fixed his hair and sideburns.

The moss-covered stone monument next to the Obinsui water also creates a solemn atmosphere. The highly transparent water is mysterious and known as a power spot.
