  • Ide's magistrate's residence (Kariyado's Shimoumazakura)
    The Ide family home is said to be where Minamoto no Yoritomo set up camp during his Makigari hunting expeditions on Mount Fuji during the Kamakura period. The nearby Shimoumazakura cherry trees at Kariyado are a designated national special natural monument, and are said to be the spot where vassals who came to Yoritomo dismounted from their horses.

  • Mt. Fuji Shiraito Heisei Rice Terraces (Shiraito Village)
    Shiraito district is known as a region that thrives in rice cultivation due to its abundant water sources from the springs of Mt. Fuji and its warm climate. Local residents have worked together to develop the fields over a period of 20 years, completing a modern agricultural foundation, and the area is known as the "Heisei Rice Terraces" to convey this to future generations.

  • Lake Tanuki　
    Lake Tanuki is located in a corner of the Asagiri Plateau, at the western foot of the majestic Mt. Fuji in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture. In spring, about 350 Somei-Yoshino and mountain cherry trees bloom along the lakeside, and in early summer, fireflies can be seen on the north side. You can go carp fishing and boating on the lake.   • Shiraito Nature Park
    Shiraito Nature Park is located on the west side of Shiraito Falls, and offers a panoramic view from the summit of Mt. Fuji to Suruga Bay. The park is home to a variety of seasonal flowers, including Mitsumata, rape blossoms, roses, and cosmos, and is a wonderful combination with Mt. Fuji. There are also playground equipment and a gymnasium.
  • Kanda River Community Square (Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine, Kanda River)
    Located within the grounds of Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine, this plaza serves as a popular relaxation spot for locals and tourists alike. It's also a waterside spot where visitors can enjoy the flow of the Kanda River, fed by spring water from Mount Fuji's groundwater source, Wakutama Pond. In spring, the cherry trees planted along the river offer a spectacular sight.
  • Otodome Falls
    This waterfall, where a huge amount of water falls in the form of a column from a 25-meter cliff, creates a resounding cascade sound. It is located next to Shiraito Falls on the main stream of the Shiba River. Long ago, when the Soga brothers were discussing how to avenge Kudo Suketsune, the enemy of their father, their voices were interrupted by the sound of the waterfall, so they briefly retreated to their seats.
