  • Obinsui (Shiraito Falls)
    Obinmizu is a beautiful water mirror located at the top of Shiraito Falls, and legend has it that when Minamoto no Yoritomo visited the area for the Fuji Makigari hunting event, he looked at his face in the beautiful water mirror and fixed his hair and sideburns.
  • Ide's magistrate's residence (Kariyado's Shimoumazakura)
    The Ide family home is said to be where Minamoto no Yoritomo set up camp during his Makigari hunting expeditions on Mount Fuji during the Kamakura period. The nearby Shimoumazakura cherry trees at Kariyado are a designated national special natural monument, and are said to be the spot where vassals who came to Yoritomo dismounted from their horses.
  • Hitoana Fujiko Site, Hitoana Sengen Shrine, Hitoana Cave
    The Hitoana Fujiko Ruins are located within Hitoana Sengen Shrine and are one of the components of the Mount Fuji World Heritage Site, demonstrating the value of Mount Fuji as an object of worship.   • Grave of Kudo Suketsune
    This tomb is located about 100 meters east of Soga no Kakureiwa. It is said that Kudo Suketsune's camp during the Fuji hunting festival was located around this tomb, and there is also said to have once been an old tree called "Makuhari no Momi" (fir tree with stalks) just to the east.

    Soga no Kakureiwa is said to be the place where the Soga brothers (older brother Juro Sukenari and younger brother Goro Tokimune) scouted Kudo Suketsune's camp, which was said to be located on the east side of the rock, and held secret meetings to plan their raid. The Soga brothers' raid was initiated after their father, Kawazu Saburo Sukeyasu, fled to Izu for territory disputes with Kudo Suketsune.
