Product Introduction

1Caramelized peanuts

MONT SAINT FUJI

This popular souvenir features "Oomasari" peanuts, a specialty of Fujinomiya City, coated in caramel. The combination of the peanut's aroma, the caramel's slight bitterness, and the crunchy texture is addictive. Each peanut is sun-dried, shelled, roasted in an oven, peeled, and then coated in caramel. The hot peanuts are then separated one by one, cooled, and packaged. It's a time-consuming process, but the delicious taste makes it all worthwhile.

2Mimasuya's Miso Balls

Marushige

"Miso-dama," a unique flavor that has been loved in Fujinomiya for 80 years, is a specialty with fans all over Japan. In 2023, Marushige took over the business. Maintaining the traditional manufacturing method and taste, we will pass on the culture and feelings of the people of Fujinomiya to future generations. With just one bite, everyone will feel a warm, nostalgic feeling and their heart will be touched. We proudly recommend this one-of-a-kind gentleness that cannot be imitated anywhere else, as a source of pride for Fujinomiya!

Amaron Cafe

Made with fresh milk delivered directly from a farm in Fujinomiya and rich eggs from Fujinomiya, this treat is baked to perfection using plenty of these local treasures, and finished with a "sugar butter" that brings out the maximum flavor of the ingredients.
Nothing unnecessary. It's the simplicity that allows us to create the ultimate crepe, packed with the blessings of Fujinomiya.

4The greatest of all time
A regular pudding.

Akaike Sweets and Coffee Shop

Nothing added to it was the best. "The best ordinary pudding ever."
What's considered "normal" in Fujinomiya is actually quite remarkable.
The milk and eggs come from cows that have grown up leisurely, breathing in plenty of the clean water and air of Fujinomiya. The nature of this town is simply the best.
That's why Akaike Shoten focuses solely on "careful" production. The "delicious air and water" at the foot of Mount Fuji are the most important secret ingredients.
When we took the blessings of this town and turned them into something tangible, we created the purest and most "normal ever."

The best ordinary pudding ever.

7Fujisan Takegawa Beef

Takegawa Livestock

Since 1927, we have been raising each and every animal with care and attention at the foot of Mt. Fuji in Kitayama, Fujinomiya City. Our goal is to create "just right meat" that harmonizes flavor, fat content, and ease of eating. Fujisan Takekawa Beef is the embodiment of that vision. The first cut we recommend you try is the sirloin. The rich flavor and elegant, sweet fat spread throughout your mouth, and the fat is not too greasy, allowing you to enjoy it deliciously to the last bite.

8Ganmo snack

Inagaki Foods, a long-established tofu shop

Inagaki Foods sells a sweet type of ganmodoki (fried tofu patties) that is only found in the Fuji and Fujinomiya areas, as a snack.
The secret to its popularity among people of all ages lies in its irresistibly delicious sweetness, its fluffy texture that remains unchanged even when cold, the aroma of soybeans and sesame that fills your mouth the moment you take a bite, and, to top it all off, the secret manufacturing method passed down through generations. These elements combine to create the perfect snack, ganmo. Next, try it for yourself and experience it for yourself!

Inagaki Foods, a long-established tofu shop, uses abundant local groundwater, and everything they make—silken tofu, firm tofu, fried tofu, thick fried tofu, soy milk, okara (soy pulp)—is delicious.
Among them, I highly recommend "Oyatsu Ganmo." It's a sweet, regional specialty of ganmodoki (a type of fried tofu fritter). You can lightly roast it and eat it crispy, or add it to stews. You can also eat it straight from the refrigerator while it's still chilled. The ways to enjoy it are endless.
