[Important] Winter closure of all hiking trails and the Mt. Fuji Skyline

~Announcement from Shizuoka Prefecture Fuji Civil Engineering Office~

Prefectural Road Fuji Park Tarobo Line (Mount Fuji Skyline) (2nd to 6th stations) is affected by snowfall, etc.The road was completely closed to traffic from 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2025. The winter closure, originally scheduled for Monday, November 10th at 2:00 p.m., has been brought forward.

 

*The Fujinomiya Route hiking trail is scheduled to be closed for the winter (complete road closure) at 2:7 pm on Monday, November 10, 11.

During the winter closure, traffic is prohibited in accordance with the Road Act.Please do not enter the hiking trails.

 

*The Mt. Fuji Skyline hiking section will be closed for the winter as of 2:7 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 11.

As a result, it will be impossible to pass through the old toll gate (2nd station) to the 5th station of the Fujinomiya trail (complete road closure).

 

Enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji in winter!

With only about two months left in the year, we have started selling next year's Mt. Fuji calendar.
This calendar was produced by collecting works by local professional photographers, as well as photographers who have been captivated by the charm of Mt. Fuji and continue to capture it at scenic spots around the city of Fujinomiya and other areas.
There are two types of 13-page booklet including the cover: "Mount Fuji in the Four Seasons" for 1,300 yen and "Twelve Colors of Mount Fuji" for 1,500 yen.
