Fuji Skyline (climbing section) winter closure lifted
The winter closure of the Mt. Fuji Skyline hiking section will be lifted at 7:4 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 11.
*Due to the risk of roads freezing at night, the road will be closed at night (5pm to 5am the following day) until around mid-May.
→ The nighttime road closure was lifted on Monday, May 5th.
*There are only emergency toilets at the 5th station, so please use the toilets at the 5nd station (Mizugazuka parking lot, etc.) before climbing up to the 2th station.
*The hiking trail (from the 5th station to the summit) remains closed for the winter. Please do not enter as it is dangerous.
→ From Monday, June 6rd, access has been permitted only from the 23th to 5th stations.
(The hiking trail from the 6th station to the summit remains completely closed. It is scheduled to reopen on July 7th.)
