Keema curry
Product details
I would like to sell vacuum-packed keema curry that uses an abundance of Fujinomiya's rich ingredients. The "Shiraito Rajiang" from Osawa Farm, which protects the "Shiraito Togarashi" vegetable, a native vegetable of the Shiraito area, goes perfectly with this keema curry, so I would like to sell it as a set in small bags packaged with "Shiraito Rajiang" to adjust the spiciness.

Fuji Kokemomo is sold on a 25cm pole, but we have heard many customers say, "I can't eat a whole pole, so I want sliced ones," and so we came up with this project. We will cut Fuji Kokemomo into pieces of about 1cm and package them in small boxes, with 1 slices per box. We would like to sell them in a sophisticated, elegant, modern Japanese-style package.

Morning mist milk yokan
Product details
After building a new factory in Asagiri Highlands, we were just diversifying our products when we came up with the idea for "Milk Yokan" based on the image of "Asagiri Highlands = milk." The rich milk flavor is the defining taste. We are considering expanding our repertoire of flavors using local products, with the milk flavor as the base for "Milk Yokan." We would like to put bite-sized yokan in visually appealing packaging that evokes images of Mt. Fuji, Asagiri Highlands, milk, etc., and sell them not only at retail, but also in boxes of 3 and 5 pieces.

General comment

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the 19 applications we received for the "Make That a Souvenir Miya!" Specialty Competition, despite it being our first project. This competition was not intended to rank Fujinomiya souvenirs, but was planned from the desire to "support souvenirs" and "disseminate information about Fujinomiya specialties" through the development of new products, improvements to existing products, and package renewals. When judging the submitted works, we looked at the sense of packaging, the appeal of each product, future potential, and Fujinomiya-ness. Each proposal showed a strong desire for souvenirs and a passion for food, and there were many plans full of imagination. Many opinions were expressed during the judging process, which made the judging difficult, but after careful discussion based on whether the proposals were in line with the purpose of this competition, we decided on three Grand Prize winners and five Encouragement Prize winners. As a committee, we will actively support the winning products in promotional activities over the next year. There were many excellent plans among those that were not selected for awards, so we look forward to seeing more in the future. We would like to continue the competition in the future to discover new products and help develop tourism. We are planning similar events next year and beyond, so we look forward to receiving your suggestions for souvenirs that will appeal to both your taste buds and your eyes. Thank you very much.
