Photo Spot Lake Tanuki

If the wind is calm, you can enjoy the inverted Mt. Fuji.

Because the water is relatively shallow, on days with calm winds, the lake can look like an upside-down mirror. We also recommend renting a bicycle and taking a stroll around the lakeside.

This park is located at the summit of Mt. Shirao, close to the Fujinomiya city center. It has a long slide and plenty of play equipment, making it a fun spot for children. The night view is also recommended.

Myojoyama Park has an observation deck where you can get a panoramic view of Fujinomiya. It is a park rich in nature. It takes about 10 minutes to walk up from the parking lot to the summit.

The 7th floor of the city hall is open to the public. This observation lobby also features paintings of Mt. Fuji by various artists.

When the snow on Mt. Fuji is lit up by the sunlight in the mornings and evenings, it turns a deep red color, which is called "Crimson Fuji." From Fujinomiya, crimson Fuji can be seen from the southern foot of the mountain in the morning, and from the southern to western foot of the mountain in the evening. This is a view that can be seen from winter to spring when Mt. Fuji is covered in snow.

Fujinomiya, located at the western foot of Mount Fuji, is the only place where you can enjoy the collaboration of Mount Fuji and the morning sun almost all year round. The best photo spot for Diamond Fuji is located on the winter solstice, heading south from the Yamanashi side to Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The best spot is the Asagiri Kogen Roadside Station in mid-February.
