In order to protect the beauty and sacredness of the World Heritage site, Mount Fuji, and to support a safe and comfortable climb, the rules for climbing Mount Fuji will change significantly in 2025.
Climbing restrictions will be in place on three routes on the Shizuoka side.
Before climbing, you will need to complete the mountain entry procedures. Please register in advance. (Registration begins on May 5th)
*"Entering the mountain" refers to entering the summit side of the mountain from the reference point set by the prefecture.
◆Completion of advance learning (e-learning) on rules and etiquette for safe climbing and preserving Mt. Fuji
* If you enter the mountain during restricted hours at night, you will need to stay overnight in a mountain hut.
From 2pm to 3am the following morning

Please pay 4,000 yen per person per visit.
